About DVTA
Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka was established under the provisions of the Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka Act No: 12 of 1995. Consisting of 6 National Vocational Training Institutes, 24 District Vocational Training Centers and 245 Vocational Training Centers.This institute operating under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Developments is providing the skills training for rural youth, while implementing the skills development programs under various fields, with the participation of employees in the field of vocational training exposing the rural youth to information technology and training them for entrepreneurship development.
